A good lesson to help students learn sharing and other life rules.
This is a good lesson plan to introduce rules. I have the children write the rules and consequences in a notebook for two reasons. One, they have to memorize them. Two, the parents have to sign the rules. This solves two problems. Once the rules are memorized and are posted in the classroom there is no argument with the student if a rule is broken. I just say, "You have broken rule # 3." and I enforce the consequence for that rule. Also, when the parent signs the rules it means they are aware of the rules and won't be suprised or angry when the consequence is enforced.
